The garden was absolutely beautiful, and the lounge area was nice! They also had water and tea available at all times. We had japanese breakfast, which I think is part of the japanese guest house experience :D they also have a shuttle service to Gora Station in the morning. The most amazing part was the Onsen (used the left on - very beautiful)! We abolutely loved it, and were able to squeeze in 2 baths dueing our 1 night stay. Lastly, staff and owner were super nice and helpful! The owner even offered to drive us to a train station so we could get to Odawara more easily for our flight. We really appreciated it!! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Hakone Mori No Yado ligger i Hakone, 8,4 km fra Hakone-Yumoto Station, og har terrasse, fælles opholdsstue og bjergudsigt. Everything! We were so lucky to have stayed here. It's clean and tidy, outside the main tourist areas so it's nice and quiet, Kuniko the owner is very kind, speaks excellent English and gave us lots of info for sightseeing, the breakfast was amazing, the bus stops outside the driveway and top that all off with a super relaxing private onsen. Best value for money!

CASA Kamakura Espresso&BED ligger i Kamakura, 600 m fra Yuigahama-stranden og 1,2 km fra Zaimokuza-stranden. Der tilbydes værelser med aircondition og eget badeværelse. The lady at Casa is super nice. There was no water yet she gave me a kettle and a tea table. The room is enough for 2 compared to general size in Japan. I am totally satisfied. Location is perfect, close to Hase Dera and Big Budha, less than 5 mins to the Hase station, and opposite to the bus station. Lots of food around.

Irori Guest House Tenmaku ligger i Hakone, 200 m fra Hakone Friluftsmuseum, og tilbyder indkvartering med bar, gratis privat parkering og fælles opholdsstue. Everything!! The traditionel Japanese feel, the staff, the common room and common kitchen, the dinner. I stayed here with my two children at 12 and 14 and we all loved it. Easy to get to Gora and to do the roundtrip.

Guest House Irodori Kamakura ligger blot 1 km fra Yuigahama-stranden og tilbyder indkvartering i Kamakura med adgang til bar, fælles lounge samt concierge-service. Healthy "samurai" breakfast prepared with love. Absolutely awesome host with a sense of humour and very devoted to accommodate disabled folks and foreigners. My amazing room full of trinkets from the past, the facilities, his hospitality, kindness and empathy, the guided tour I did with him, all these were just the best ever experienced in Japan accommodation. (and I have seen so many!). This is my number one! The ghosts did not disturb me, made me feel at home, they did not want me to leave.

Open in April 2017, Field Hakone Resort is set in Hakone, a 6-minute walk from Sengokuannaishomae Bus Stop. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on... We stayed two weeks at Field Hakone Resort to enjoy lake Ashi and its surroundings. The location of the hotel is perfect to move around the Hakone Area (very good accessible with bus). The staff is also very nice and the rooms big and comfortable. We will definitely return in our next trip to Japan!

Everything is within walking distances. The best part is the nearest station (Hidenochi station) is one train ride from/to Haneda Airport station, Yokohama Station, or Yokosuka Chuo station (Yokosuka US Base).

Situated in Yokosuka and with Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine reachable within 24 km, 酒と宿と不動産-yado- features a terrace, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a restaurant. Great big room, clean, comfortable, warm in a Lovely old building. Friendly hosts, I booked last minute while cycling around Tokyo bay and was greeted with a smile, a great recommendation for somewhere to eat late at night and they allowed me to store my bicycle inside overnight. I would definitely say again if I am back in Yokosuka anytime.
