Kotobukian 寿庵 in Awaji provides adults-only accommodation with a garden, a bar and a shared lounge. The views, Bath, beds, and staff were excellent. Couldn't ask for better. And the staff even speak some English. Will definitely return if I get the chance.

Set within 3.6 km of Kobe Center for Overseas Migration and Cultural Interaction and 9.3 km of Noevir Stadium Kobe, Kobe Guesthouse MAYA offers rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in... I loved my stay! Naho gave me a wonderful welcome to Kobe with a lot of excellent local advice. The atmosphere in the shared space was convivial. The spaces were cosy with creative interior details. Shower pressure was excellent. Loved the roof deck; its fun to watch the Kobe trains go past! Easy walk to train stations and local shopping street Suidosuji.

Tomo-san was very welcoming and the atmosphere was homely. Breakfast was tasty and different both days, and it was nice to sit with the other guests and chat to them. The shower had good pressure and heat, and the room was comfortable. Himeji Castle wasn't too far to walk.

The location was excellent! Prime location to view the sunrise! The single room was spacious with comfortable beds, stocked kitchen, and music and movie options available. The bathroom was wonderful too.

Providing ski-to-door access, a terrace and free WiFi, Rokko Outdoor Station FOTON is a recently renovated guest house 6.3 km from Mount Rokko and 7.8 km from Mount Maya. We had the best time in this accomodation on Mt Rokko. Arriving by cable car was idyllic and easy to find from Kobe with the owners instructions. We absolutely loved the food! Actually, we would consider just coming back here to eat again. The owner is an amazing chef and cooked different foods for our stay. While my husband loved the Kobe beef, our teenage girls ate all the homecooked bread. My favourite was a delicious salad and grilled marinated japanese radish.. I still dream about them:-). The owners speak great english and was able to direct us well. We enjoyed an outing to Arima Onsen town from here by ropeway. Most likely our favourite stay in Japan!
