Breakfast each morning was eggs and bacon, provided with a pan where you could fry them yourselves. He gave us a bottle of sake as a present when we had dinner, and even sat with us during our meal, sharing stories.

Toyako Guest House Ponkotan is situated in Lake Toya, in the Toyako Onsen district. With free WiFi, this 1-star hostel offers a shared kitchen and a shared lounge. Very cozy and comfortable hostel in the middle of Toyakoonsen. Keiko-san was a very friendly and helpful host! We came in the middle of winter and the whole town was covered in snow. Can walk around and explore around the small lake town very easily. The beds were very comfortable. The common room was great for meeting other travellers and chatting. Also discovered Yukigassen!

Shabby House là ngôi nhà kiểu Nhật truyền thống 60 năm tuổi nằm ở thành phố Sapporo và cách ga tàu Nishisenjuyojo 3 phút đi bộ. so cute! great location with grocery store around the corner as well as a 7/11. meters from a tram line aswell! be prepared to go up steep steps but it’s all part of it!
