Breakfast was a simple but nice experience where we could cook our own bacon, eggs, and toast. The hosts were really nice and friendly people, very helpful in suggesting places to go as well as with planning leave and return timings. They had also written us placards to be used as signs for hitchhiking if there wasn't any more public transport available. The room was nice and cosy with futon beds, and had coffee and tea which we could take freely.

Toyako Guest House Ponkotan er staðsett við Toya-vatn í Toyako Onsen-hverfinu. Þetta 1 stjörnu farfuglaheimili er með ókeypis WiFi, sameiginlegt eldhús og sameiginlega setustofu. Great location, within 5 mins walk to everywhere, really close to bus station and the Toya lake! The owner Keiko is really friendly and helpful, keep the hostel spotless clean, and thanks for the great tips for amazing hot spring and firework. It’s one of my best memories of the 20 days trips in Hokkaido!

Featuring 1-star accommodation, Sapporo Guest House 庵 Anne is set in Sapporo, 14 km from Sapporo Station and 25 km from Otaru Station. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. An absolute pleasure will definitely stay here again. Cannot recommend highly enough

O'popo home er staðsett í Otaru og Otaru-síkisgarðurinn er í innan við 600 metra fjarlægð. The family that run the hotel was very friendly and helpful. They always gave a good information. On the last day, they pick up us to the train station. Very generously

Býður upp á útsýni yfir hljóðláta götu, BEACH OG FIELD. INN er gistirými í Sapporo, 3,9 km frá Sapporo-stöðinni og 10 km frá Shin-Sapporo-stöðinni. It was such a nice small INN. The bed was super comfy, the room spacious and the showers clean. The INN is mostly made out of wood and it feels so comfy. In the morning they made me coffee. 🥰 It's only a 5-10 min walk to the subway and on the way there is a 7/11. They give you good recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

Guesthouse OYADO SAPPORO býður upp á gistingu í Sapporo, 6,5 km frá Sapporo-stöðinni, 10 km frá Shin-Sapporo-stöðinni og 24 km frá Otarushi Zenibako City Center. My stay here was simply wonderful. Yoshie is an outstanding host and she will make you feel right at home, and help with anything she can. I met wonderful people and had tons of fun, we even had a "live karaoke" night where we played the guitar and sang songs. I really hope I can come back some time!

We stayed literally home at Kazu’s (the host) place and he looked after us so well and helped us with a super stay. Fantastic home made breakfast He helped us booking and taking us to a restaurant nearby. After he installed us at the restaurant he invited us for a whisky tasting of his Japanese favourites. The most helpful and kind host I have ever met. Thanks a lot for a memorable stay.

Shabby House er 60 ára gamalt japanskt heimili sem er staðsett í Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo-stöðin er í 3 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá gististaðnum. Thank you Kudo san for your hospitality, generosity and kindness. I should have stayed longer then 3 nights. Location is right next to the tram and a supermarket. The breakfast is delicious. Rooms are cozy. The interior is fascinating.

Pension Megumiyuki er staðsett í aðeins 4 mínútna akstursfjarlægð frá Biei-stöðinni og er umkringt friðsælum engjum og grænmetisökrum. High level of hospitality plus lovely and authentic atmosphere.
