The hosts were really nice and friendly people, very helpful in suggesting places to go as well as with planning leave and return timings. They had also written us placards to be used as signs for hitchhiking if there wasn't any more public transport available. The room was nice and cosy with futon beds, and had coffee and tea which we could take freely.

The bed was super comfy, the room spacious and the showers clean. The INN is mostly made out of wood and it feels so comfy. In the morning they made me coffee. 🥰 It's only a 5-10 min walk to the subway and on the way there is a 7/11. They give you good recommendations for restaurants and things to do.

My stay here was simply wonderful. Yoshie is an outstanding host and she will make you feel right at home, and help with anything she can. I met wonderful people and had tons of fun, we even had a "live karaoke" night where we played the guitar and sang songs. I really hope I can come back some time!

If you would like to discover the area, skiing and cycling are possible in the surroundings and the guest house can arrange a bicycle rental service. We stayed literally home at Kazu’s (the host) place and he looked after us so well and helped us with a super stay. Fantastic home made breakfast He helped us booking and taking us to a restaurant nearby. After he installed us at the restaurant he invited us for a whisky tasting of his Japanese favourites. The most helpful and kind host I have ever met. Thanks a lot for a memorable stay.

Shabby House is a 60-year old traditional Japanese home that is situated in Sapporo. Nishisenjuyojo Station is a 3-minute walk away from the property. I should have stayed longer then 3 nights. Location is right next to the tram and a supermarket. The breakfast is delicious. Rooms are cozy. The interior is fascinating.
