Our room was definitely idiosyncratic, with a great mixture of flea-market findings, real and almost antiques, big windows and lots of space. Public areas were also fun, continuing the comfortable, off-beat vibe. A little frayed at the edges, though very clean. Friendly staff.

Narita Sando Guesthouse provides accommodation in Narita near Naritasan Shinshoji Temple and Naritasan Park. Narita Station and Keisei Narita Station is just a 5-minute walk. Free WiFi is provided. The location was great with a lots of restaurants few steps away. The guesthouse has a big common room with tatami where you can eat or just rest from a long day and have a chat with others guests. The self check-in is really easy and fast, room was spacious for 2 people. Everything looked pretty clean!

Ubytovanie Guesthouse Oomiya base 大宮基地別荘 sa nachádza v destinácii Čiba 29 km od miesta Chiba Museum of Science and Industry. The atmosphere at the quest house was quite informal, so therefore very comfortable. The host, Kamijo, was enormously the reason for this. He handled requests from his guests with ease and a sense of calmness, hence creating a relaxing situation for everyone staying there. I would definitely stay there again when visiting the Chiba City area or even Tokyo area, and I will probably bring my family with me as there is a remarkable family room that could accommodate several members (4+) of the family, and even friends!
