The staff is very kind and helpful. The restaurant is lovely with its view (on the landscape and the cows!), and the food (mostly homemade with farm products) was delicious! I highly recommend.

We had a little kitchen in our room and we could also use a shared bigger kitchen near our room. Shower was comfortable with all basic things like shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Internet was fast.

First time we have seen a dog playing football - we won that game 3-2, but the dog probably let us win… And don’t miss the homemade ice-creams !!

Situated by Lake Mývatn, this guest house offers basic rooms with shared facilities. The Mývatn Nature Baths is a 10-minute drive away. Check in/out was very quick and easy, with codes, no personnel. Washbasin within the room is so comfortable. The common kitchen area is really huge and equipped.

Location, cleanliness, the food ( amazing!), the amenities ( including the hot tubs!!) and the locals who were welcoming and warm!

Excellent well-stocked kitchen with at least 2 of everything (oven/stove, sinks, workspaces, cutting boards etc) and plenty of room for. many people to comfortable cook at the same time. Beautiful, big glass dining room looking out over lava rocks. Very welcoming staff. Clear posted rules so the place runs efficiently and well but no micromanaging staff. Also a place in the fridge and shelves outside it for extra food you can leave behind for someone else if you are traveling the next day and can't carry it with you. Very nice private showers!
