The accommodation is basic but perfect for a quick rest before or after the jungle trek. The jungle trek itself was a great adventure - we were lucky enough to spot lots of orang utans and a bunch of other wildlife, and had a great time with our 2 guides (special thanks for their Indonesian lessons!). Big shout out also to the chef, we were so well-fed with the most delicious food every evening!

Best place ever to chill and feel part of the jungle. I did not want to leave. The food is incredible and all the team are so friendly. Recommend to book your jungle trek also, we did 2 days which was perfect. Amazing experience and amazing spot. Thank you :)

SeaGate Bungalows หันหน้าไปทางริมชายหาดในซาบังและให้บริการสวนและพื้นที่ชายหาดส่วนตัว มีลานระเบียงและผู้เข้าพักสามารถใช้อินเทอร์เน็ตไร้สาย (WiFi) ฟรีและที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี ที่ SeaGate Bungalows... The Place was amazing. Great value for money. The room has a sea view, it is very quiet, comfortable, clean and you have a fridge, desk and drinking water in the room. Wifi works well and I could work and take online meetings with no problem. The food prepared at the restaurant is some of the best I have eaten in Indonesia. Because of Ramadan food options needed to be arranged in advance but the host cooked for us during lunch also because on the island there would have been very limited options otherwise. The best thing is the reef right in front of the property that is basically your backyard. Beautiful snorkeling you can stay in the water for hours. They arranged for us a pick up and drop off at the ferry port and also a scooter rental at a reasonable price.

Lake access and beautiful view from the garden as well as the room - I think The most beautiful out of all The accomodation I’ve seen while walking around Tuk Tuk Village. New and very clean apartaments. Great banana pancaces for breakfast:) Very warm and helpful owners- helped organize a guide and transport around The lake as well as futher trip.

Bua Guest House ตั้งอยู่ในเมดาน ห่างจากสุเหร่าใหญ่เมดาน 9.3 กม.ให้บริการที่พักพร้อมสวน ที่จอดรถส่วนตัวฟรี เลานจ์ส่วนกลาง และลานระเบียง ที่พักนี้ให้บริการสแน็กบาร์... The owners were beyond helpful with anything I needed. One of the most accommodating and helpful hosts I’ve ever experienced.

Sumatra Cheeky Monkeys มีบริการสวน เลานจ์ส่วนกลาง ลานระเบียง และห้องอาหารในบูกิตลาวัง สิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกต่าง ๆ ของที่พักแห่งนี้มีทั้งบาร์และสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกสำหรับทำบาร์บีคิว... I stayed at the place for 2 nights, had a great tour with two guides working with the cheeky monkey. We saw monkeys, Orangutans(my two guides found them after about 2 hours of Trekking in the jungle), turtle, insects, plants, did a great tour for one day. Including rafting for about +/- 50 Euros/USD. The food in the cheeky monkey is quite expensive compared to other places in bukit lawang but it was really good. It definitely a recommendation, try the Gado-Gado - a vegetarian food. Chris from Austria

The guest house is located by a fast paced river. Families come to enjoy the swimming there and the place is full of laughter . Bukit Lawang is an idyllic village with cafes and small shops on riverside. I was travelling solo but was always finding myself in company. Butra, Maya and Juni made me feel most welcome. Great breakfast was always there when needed 😀.
