We stayed here for one night before our jungle trek. We booked our Medan airport to Bukit Lawang transport and the jungle trek with them. From the time of booking till we left the place; Brian and his team were extremely helpful. Sarah cooked delicious dinner for the night. The place is value for money and they even provide good breakfast. Our tour guide for the forest trek was Rosyid & his assistant Theo. They were absolutely amazing and the best throughout. I could complete my trek on the last day because of their motivation throughout. We can't recommend them enough. The food that they served during trek was also really good. Rosyid and Theo went out of their way to help a random guy during the trek who was unwell and made sure to give him the medicines and took extremely good care of him till he got better and help arrived. It didn't matter to him if the guy was part of our group or no and that shows how professional and caring they are. Magic tricks by Rosyid at the campsite was very entertaining. There was also Manto who cooked extremely delicious dinner and breakfast for us and helped with the river tubing. Would definitely recommend staying at Sumatra Thomas Leaf Monkey Guesthouse in Bukit Lawang.

Objekat The view padang, Amazing view, food, drink, sleep, transport, 8 mins Mentawai fast ferry, koji je smešten u gradu Padang, na 14 min. Amazing host, comfortable beds and the hospitality they provided just simply amazing. We will come back for sure!

Objekat Sumatra Orangutan Discovery Villa je smešten u gradu Bukit Lawang i nudi vrt. Ovaj pansion ima terasu i pogled na planinu, a gosti mogu da uživaju uz obrok u restoranu ili piće u baru. Ellie helped us to organise a trip in Sumatra from getting picked up at the airport to being dropped off, including activities such as jungle tour, elephant washing, lake toba, etc. Not only was she very professional during the organisation but she was also available all along in case something happened! Upon arrival at the discovery villa, we were greeted by Tyson and a delicious watermelon juice, while he walked us through the planning of the next couple days. Every guide we had was very knowledgeable ( Dany walked us through the jungle, he stopped often to show us some plants and of course the various monkeys/ orangutans) and always seemed very happy! The food was very diverse and delicious, especially the juices😋 The whole trip felt like pure holidays, we did something everyday but never felt rushed or stressed as the guides were usually flexible! Everything was absolutely amazing, we would definitely recommend staying there and take contact if there is any special requests, they are always happy to help their hosts!! We will hopefully be back one day!

Objekat SeaGate Bungalows se nalazi na obali mora u gradu Sabang i nudi vrt i privatnu plažu. Na raspolaganju je terasa, a gosti takođe mogu da koriste besplatan WiFi i besplatan privatni parking. Great hosts, view from the bungalow is outstanding. Breakfast and dinner is available on request and the hosts provide a.motorbike to get around. I spent a week with Borja and Yuyun, they showed me all the sites on the island, it was a lovely relaxing time.

The location is a perfect base for jungle trekking but the best thing is the incredible staff and the amazing food. I’m genuinely sad to leave and it feels like I’m leaving my home. Everyone works so hard to make it a fabulous experience. Objekat Romlan nudi smeštaj sa 3 zvezdice na obali mora u gradu Tuk Tuk i ima vrt i privatnu plažu. We stayed for a total of 9 nights in Romlan; in two different rooms. Where to start with the things we liked? First of all, the staff of Romlan is very friendly and helpful. They even helped us with calling and getting to the local pharmacy to get some medicines for sickness (one of us got ill and they called the pharmacy that was closed due to the Sunday Service and they opened up the pharmacy for us). The food and drinks of their own restaurant were amazing and very tasty & variable; good price value as well! The location of Romlan is also good: the boat drops you off at their pier and all the things in Tuk Tuk are on walking distance. The views from the rooms and restaurant are amazing. If you want to hire a scooter bike you can without signing for anything and you don't have to fuel up the tank (when you get the bike, the tank is full). A free refill water station is available and also some tips & tricks about the surroundings of Romlan and the transport options from Lake Toba to other places like Berastagi or Medan. Definitely recommended to book your stay at Romlan when you are looking for a place to stay in Tuk Tuk.

Objekat Fun Family Guest House n Jungle Tour se nalazi u gradu Bukit Lawang. Ovaj pansion sa 2 zvezdice nudi zajedničku kuhinju i ostavu za prtljag. Good value for the money. Great location - river view. Best option for those who want to do jungle tour. Never before we had pleasure to meet such a fun, knowledgeable and well organized guide as Putra. Jungle treck was a real highlight of the entire trip to Indonesia thanks to him. We manage to see 7 orangutans, had the best close to nature overnight in the middle of the jungle with so many delicious local dishes. Putra really cares about the jungle and nature as much as he cares for his guests. You can find many guest houses in Bukit Lawang depend on your need but for sure you will not find better jungle guide!!!
