Set in Vukovar, Accommodation Zara has a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi. The accommodation offers a 24-hour front desk, a shared kitchen and luggage storage for guests. The host was very kind and helpful. The place was clean and tidy with all required facilities. Great location 5 minute walk to center. Would surely recommend and return.

Located in the town of Ilok, 200 metres from the Old Town, Rooms Villa Iva offers a restaurant with a terrace, free private parking and wired internet in the rooms. The staff went out of their way to be helpful both in terms of giving us time and information and generous touches such as complimentary sweet and savoury local pastries. We appreciated being in a friendly family run guesthouse. It was much nicer than an anonymous big hotel.

If you are looking for an overnight stay before or after the Crotia-Serbia boarder this is a really good place to stay. The host is very responsive and takes reservations immediately if there is a room available. She gave us really good instructions and actually made a video of the house and the room in case she wasn't able to meet us in person. We could park our car safely in the house yard which was very convenient. The room we stayed in had a comfortable bed and was good for an overnight stay. We also had access to a big balcony but we preferred to use the yard for our morning coffee. We had the bathroom all to ourselves which was also really nice. Overall, it's a good accommodation for traveling people who are about to cross the border and need take a good rest before they continue with the journey. The price is also very, very good.
