Set 200 metres from Katapola Port, Porto Katapola Pension offers accommodation with a balcony, as well as a garden and a terrace. Katapola may be a small town, you may be here just for a night to take the ferry early next morning, or use this place as a base. Regardless of your reasons, stay here. Although the place may not be a 5 star hotel, you can rest assured you will be taken cared of nicely. The service, and the thoughtful gestures goes a long way. The level of service Giannis provided is impeccable - (1) He waited for us at the bus stops (2) knowing that we don't have much time to take breakfast the next morning because of our ferry departure time at 6am, Giannis left us a packet of breadsticks, (3) When I was dining at a restaurant, my next table also is a guest of this place, they are having some issue on ferry connection to Santorini, Giannis drove all the way to the restaurant to fine the couple, explained in detailed how to get there. Excellent level of service to customers.

It's very hard to describe how amazing our experience was in this wonderful place. Starting from the day we arrived and the very nice and warm welcome that we received from the owners, to the day we left when they even gave us a very nice gift painted by Roberto himself as a memory of Amorgos and their place. The place is amazing, the view from the balconies are perfect, you can see the village on one side and the sea on the other side, which, especially at night, is wonderful. We had days in which we didn't want to leave the room because it was so calm and relaxed that we didn't want to leave. We were staying in the room called Elia and it was amazing, you have a small swimming pool where you can relax, the room is huge, with a small kitchen, smart TV and even 2 bathrooms. Roberto and his wife did a great job, paying attention to every small detail which makes it unique. Everything was built by them and it's amazing to see how they built these rooms in the mountain. We will come back for sure!

Within 200 metres from the sandy Katapola Beach in Amorgos, Villa Le Grand Blue features air-conditioned accommodation with a sea-view balcony or patio. The husband and wife team Angeliki and Stergios are quite helpful and attentive. Angeliki elicits such warm feelings that she almost appears to be running on sheer joy much of the time. Stergios is more low key and interacts in a steady and circumspect manner. The location is quite good; the town is very walkable. The breakfast looked spectacular although I am not a breakfast person. My one area of dissatisfaction is the room interior. The rooms are quite stark, almost monastic in nature. I don't believe there was even a picture on a wall, and the bed and lamps were quite old, although the mattress was firm. I realize most of the guests are French and they are not as concerned with old fashioned hotel rooms as U.S. citizens. The major issue for me was the bathroom. There is no showerhead. The shower is extremely outdated and one must use a hand held shower hose. I believe the last time I even stayed in a hotel room with a hand held shower hose was 1979 or 1980. So I would ask Stergios (he seems able to fix anything) please update the showers so that the bathrooms have an overhead showerhead. It may take a while to update all the bathrooms, but at least update a few of them. Ppl will pay more if they receive a renovated room. And perhaps, Angeliki, replace the bathroom towels with softer and newer towels. It is amazing how much better one feels, if after a shower, the towels are soft and skin friendly. (even if one must hold the shower head) All this being said, I would still stay here again, if I am invited back!!

Amongst bougainvilleas 100 metres from Aegiali beach, Askas offers rooms with free Wi-Fi and balcony or patio overlooking the Aegean Sea or the mountains of Amorgos. The hotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the harbor. The entrance to the hotel is quite pleasant, and the presence of books is a significant plus. From the moment we made the reservation, the staff was in constant communication with us regarding our potential needs. Dimitra welcomed us early in the morning when we arrived and handed us our room. The room was spacious, airy, and clean. Having a mosquito net on the balcony was a great advantage. We rented a car through their family business, Evdokia, and received detailed and practical information about getting to the harbor, traffic, and more. (Thanks again, Fani :) ) The restaurant below the hotel looked very inviting. Fani and Marios extended an invitation to their table, and we thoroughly enjoyed their wonderful company. I would like to express my gratitude once again.

The Cycladic-style Pension Barbara is conveniently located 30 metres from Katapola Port in Amorgos and 100 metres from the beach. The apartment was clean and beautiful. The location is perfect. Everything is nearby.

Οasis Apartments is situated in Amorgós and features a garden. The guest house features both free WiFi and free private parking. Super comfortable, large apartment in a very quiet area, yet only a short walk to the center of Chora. We loved it!
