Situated in Twatt and only 13 km from Ring of Brogdar, Runa Guest House features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Runa Guest house is wonderful. Comfortable, cosy, a home from home. Very well placed for visits to Scara Brae, Maes Howe and the Ring of Brodgar. A very well equipped kitchen. A lovely clean shower room. A comfy bedroom with lots of storage.

Set in Kirkwall, 15 km from Maeshowe, Castaway Guesthouse offers accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking. The breakfast was very good and she was able to adjust for my GF needs. The location was an excellent starting point for exploring Orkney.

Karrawa Guest House is set in the town of Kirkwall, less than 1 mile from the town centre and within 2.5 miles of the airport and ferry terminal. Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

Royal Oak Guesthouse, a property with a shared lounge, is situated in Orkney, 2.2 km from Scapa Beach, 17 km from Maeshowe, as well as 19 km from Standing Stones of Stenness. Excellent breakfast. I only had the fruit and Greek yogurt (and good coffee) but that was exactly what I wanted. The host was very helpful with our early leaving and storage of our bikes.

Our room was immaculate, parking was very convenient, tea and snacks the best, breakfast for the first time we could select the night before off a menu and was delicious!

Boasting a private beach area and views of sea, Waterfront House is a guest house set in a historic building in Finstown, 5.7 km from Maeshowe. exquisite, what a beautifully decorated guest house , Kim and Amar have thought of everything, the attention to detail was evident in every way from the tv over the spar to the lighting in all the rooms , the views were beautiful and mesmerising, Kim greeted us and explained breakfast was not included however they had provided cereal , fruit , bread and accompaniments along with a fridge full of complimentary drinks and snacks , the bed was comfortable and the shower amazing , this property deserves much more than a ten out of ten. Location is central, we were literally 10-20 minutes from all major sites.

Sanderlay Guest House, a property with a garden and a shared lounge, is set in Kirkwall, 17 km from Maeshowe, 19 km from Standing Stones of Stenness, as well as 20 km from Ring of Brogdar. Great guest house a short walk from downtown Kirkwall. This is an ideal base to see everything Mainland Orkney has to offer. We walked to Kirkwall and the Highland Park distillery from here. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable.

The Ferry Inn offers 30 rooms spread across four buildings in Stromness, and is located 6 miles from the UNESCO Neolithic Heart of Orkney. so easy to find and travel from. quiet town

Located in Saint Margarets Hope, 40 km from Maeshowe, Murray Arms Hotel and Seafood Restaurant, Orkney provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a restaurant and a bar. I loved the hotel, my room, the location, and the manager, Suzanne, and her staff. The hotel was minutes away from the ferry to Gills Bay and yet so quiet and peaceful at night. I was sad to leave.
