Very well placed for visits to Scara Brae, Maes Howe and the Ring of Brodgar. A very well equipped kitchen. A lovely clean shower room. A comfy bedroom with lots of storage.

Karrawa Guest House is set in the town of Kirkwall, less than 1 mile from the town centre and within 2.5 miles of the airport and ferry terminal. Karrawa is a lovely home with a very comfortable guest room and an exquisitely appointed en-suite. Everything was so clean and Fyona was quite friendly snd welcoming. Our cooked breakfast was delicious. I wish we had been able to spend more time there.

Royal Oak Guesthouse encontra-se em Orkney, a 2,2 km de Scapa Beach e a 17 km de Maeshowe. The location was good. The food was excellent. The rooms were comfortable. There was a lounge with games, sofas, and a large TV, but we were too busy to take advantage of it. Eric, the host, was very friendly and accommodating. He got us everything we asked for. The water was very soft, so only a small amount of soap or shampoo was needed. It didn't feel like we were intruding in someone's home. It felt more like a mini hotel with a fair amount of privacy for coming and going. Also, we had a ground floor room where we didn't have to drag suitcases up, which is hard being older adults. The stay was very enjoyable.

Our room was immaculate, parking was very convenient, tea and snacks the best, breakfast for the first time we could select the night before off a menu and was delicious!

Great guest house a short walk from downtown Kirkwall. This is an ideal base to see everything Mainland Orkney has to offer. We walked to Kirkwall and the Highland Park distillery from here. Breakfast was very good, and the rooms were comfortable.

Murray Arms Hotel and Seafood Restaurant, Orkney localiza-se em Saint Margarets Hope, a 40 km de Maeshowe, e fornece acomodações com um jardim, estacionamento privado gratuito, um restaurante e um... I loved the hotel, my room, the location, and the manager, Suzanne, and her staff. The hotel was minutes away from the ferry to Gills Bay and yet so quiet and peaceful at night. I was sad to leave.
