The house was comfortable, super clean, amazingly situated and Kim was an an awesome host! She ensured we had correct directions to the house, met us at check-in and gave us great advice for the area, and was even able to assist us throughout our stay! She definitely went above and beyond what was expected.

Gillian was a very gracious host, so warm and welcoming. The room was fantastic, well heated, comfortable and impeccably clean. I hadn't originally booked breakfast with our stay but was able to add it on arrival paying cash by the day for the delicious continental breakfast. With a fantastic view of the mountains from the breakfast room. The B&B is only a few minutes walk from the charming town of portree or an even shorter drive. Gillian had contacted us prior to our visit with some local restaurants for dinners which was greatly appreciated and booking in advance is essential as the town is very popular. I would highly recommend this beautiful home for any stay.

Set in Portree and only 37 km from Dunvegan Castle, Stonefield House offers accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property has garden and inner courtyard views. Location is great : only 6 min to the centre. Room was so beautifully decorated, extremely clean and bigger than we expect it. First impression was amazing. Host is beyond kindness and we felt like home. Good feature is : only three rooms at the first floor : so you have your privacy on the highest level! Breakfast was served at the time we wanted : fresh, good and much better than in other hotels. Internet was very fast : without any small delay/ three of us were looking at the netflix at the same time. I loved bathroom : so clean that I couldn't believe it. A have not enough nice words to explain how people are taking care or guests: amazing job! Wish to go back for longer time.

We loved every minute of our stay here and would like to thank Murdo and Alison for their hospitality, and Scott for the exceptional cuisine - we had a great dinner experience compared to a Michelin-starred restaurant. Next time when we are back to Portree there is no question for us where to stay :)

The place was perfect. There were sufficient linens, towels, toiletries, making the room comfortable to stay in for a few nights. Food and snacks were provided in the communal area, which were useful for our breakfast. The location is close to the centre of Portree, which was perfect to explore the Isle of Skye. Overall a great experience and would definitely book this place again if we were back in Portree!

Set 13 km from Portree, just 41 km from Talisker Distillery, Seal Cottage offers beachfront accommodation with a garden, a private beach area, a terrace and free WiFi. It was a perfect quiet little spot for our trip to Skye. I was glad to be out of touristy Portree and have the option to cook simple meals when we wanted to. I loved the view of the ocean, and the welcoming touches such as the breakfast basket and the vegan cupcakes on arrival. I also appreciate the hiking maps and poles you loaned to us for our trip to the Quarraing.
