Easy self-check in. There was a lovely lady over the phone recommended us a local chippy store, it was close by and tasty. We stayed with the dog and it was so nice to find a care box for our paw friend. he barked ‘thanks’ for that. Thank you for a lovely place to stay over. Kate, Max, Alla & corgi Chico!

Situated on the outskirts of the village of Shefford Woodlands, The Pheasant Inn boasts a traditional restaurant and a cosy bar with an open fire. Outstanding staff, Ben and Catherine and the lovely blonde girl on her way to Uni.....Olivia? Amazing customer service. The food was GREAT, thanks to Ben and the other chef whose name we have unfortunately forgotten!! Seriously lovely food, beautifully cooked fish, inventive vegetarian options, and gorgeous breakfast. Just great all around and wonderful, friendly and kind staff. They even noticed my newfound love for the Scotch Egg and bought me one for the flight out. Comfortable bed with great pillows and linens, fluffy robes and towels, and a Dyson air-cooling fan. All details thoughtful and of quality fabrics. Maybe something more than Nescafe packet coffee? But otherwise a real treat, and cannot say enough about the staff. Loved the fact that lighting was wall sconces, not overheads!!

Paul ferried us to a local Pub/Restaurant that was excellent value for money(Leslie had pre-booked us) It was a Godsend. We had to departure early than expected due to forecasted storm warning 17th February, Paul gave us the correct information to get to East Midlands airport. Overall a great example of good customer care

The Windsor Trooper is an 18th century public house and inn, with 9 cosy rooms to welcome you. Clean cosy room. Beds were so comfortable. Clean. Close to main shopping and easy walk to the castle.

With a great location just 1 km from the A34 and 1.5 km from Newbury town centre, the hotel has been refurbished to reflect its 17th-century heritage. The Breakfast was fabulous. We ate dinner in the restaurant on a regular basis, as it was also fabulous.
