At this point we’d been traveling through Europe for 6 weeks and we had our best nights sleep and shower in all that time at the chateau.

This is a beautiful little room where it’s obvious that the owners wanted to create, with lots of love, a beautiful place to stay. It even has a common sitting room where you can also prepare your breakfast and a kitchen which contains anything you could possibly want including two different coffee makers with the fitting cartridges. Private parking in front of the house. And in walking distance (less than 30 minutes) of the highlights of Amiens.

This was a gem of a place! But first, Laon is probably the prettiest city you've never heard of. It's a little difficult to get to as it sits high on a plateau, but it's worth getting there. Many great places to dine at and attractions to see. Just go! The B&B is run by a young couple with a daughter, and it is just fantastic. Huge rooms, very comfortable, and the breakfast is delicious. Our host was extremely helpful. We stayed two nights and could easily stayed two more except for our schedule.

The hosts were so kind, caring and giving! Sarah gave tips for places to visit nearby like restaurants and cultural activities. They prepared us a full French breakfast every morning and it was always super delicious! Comfy beds and warm shower. I honestly have zero minpoints about our stay at La Chasse Royale. Everything went smooth, check-in, check-out, bed-/bathroom, location, kitchen and neighbourhood. It is close to Paris by car and totally reachable for short visits. The breakfast was a bit poore for the amount of money paid. The host was very nice, the room was very clean I liked it a lot. I will definitely come back.
