The room is pleasantly bright due to the large windows. Paola and Lucien are very attentive and friendly hosts and excellent cooks. So, you should not miss the optional dinner with lovingly prepared dishes of the regional cuisine. We really enjoyed the evenings in cosy, entertaining company around the dining table with Paola, Lucien and the other guests. The breakfast was also rich and varied. There are good walking guides available for planning things to do in the region. We felt very comfortable at Maison d'hôtes Le Couvent and recommend it without reservation.

Also it was very easy to reach the city center by bicycle in 10 min. Bicycles are easy to rent in the city.

A two night stay in Albi at this lovely little hotel. The couple who run it are very friendly and made a lot of effort to communicate with us non French Aussies. The room was very comfortable and breakfast was great with everything you could want including home made preserves . Also made lovely scrambled eggs for us.
