Hostal Central Palace Madrid is the only guest house located in the Plaza de Oriente square, opposite the Royal Palace. It is 200 metres from Opera Metro Station and 10 minutes’ walk from Puerta del Sol. Big clean room with AC and mini fridge. A bottle of complementary Cava and two bottles of water were waiting for us. Alina, the receptionist, was a delight, upgraded our room and provided a map of the city. Overal a great stay.

The guest house is on the 2nd floor of an elegant townhouse and has a lift. I absolutely loved the receptionist, Aury, she was warm and kind and friendly. She made me feel comfortable above all else, which means a lot to me as a solo traveller.

Rooms at the Bueno guesthouse have private bathrooms, air conditioning and heating. They also have TVs, and there is a lift. The location of this hotel was just a few steps from Gran Via and walking distance to many major sights! It was extremely clean, well designed and thought out room with a very comfortable bed and good shower. The staff were friendly and very accomodating. We had no problems with noise as mentioned in other reviews. This is great value for money in the centre of Madrid!!!

This guest house also has a 24-hour reception desk, so you can go partying until the early hours in this lively city, with lots of restaurants, bars and nightclubs just a short walk away. the hotel was great - good price for clean, large, friendly place to stay. Shower was fantastic, and the room was very clean. balcony was super cool.
