Great peaceful place to rest up, and then enjoy Otavalo. Good beds, nice kitchen and little communal area. Everything was perfect and the owner is really nice!

The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

It's difficult to pick just one thing that we liked because the Hacienda San Isidro de Iltaqui was extraordinary in so many ways! We loved the hacienda's ambiance, the farm fresh food was delicious, and the hosts offered attentive, personal, old world hospitality that will bring us back. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I came to this hostel and ended up at that moment the only guest staying there. A bit out of the way and tired, I didn't expect it to be the wonderful ecperience it was. All credit goes to Emerson. He's a beautiful and amazing human being I spent hours speaking with about everything and he did his absolute best to make me comfortable, not as a business but as a friend. The environment and facilities fhemselves were really creative and cool. With a group of people, I can imagine it being a place you could get stuck at!

Decorated with stylish furnishing, rooms at Hosteria Hacienda Pinsaqui have wooden floors. All of them have private bathrooms. Authentic, beautiful old hacienda, set in delightful sloping grounds, with views to mountains either side. We had probably the best room, no 7. Lovely public rooms. Very helpful staff. Nice vibe. Excellent location. We had 4 nights and could have managed a fifth. The rim walk around the crater lake Cuicocha was one of the best day hikes in our life 10/10 wow. 5 hours solid walking. Horse riding and Condor centre also good - 8/10. Otavalo market OK 7/10 and worth going to on a Saturday but. Food was so good we didn’t bother to eat in Octavalo.

Las Palmeras Inn is an 7-minute drive from Plaza de Ponchos Square, an 8-minute drive from Otavalo Bus Terminal, and a 10-minute drive from Cascada de Peguche Waterfalls. We loved the fireplace in the room and the hot water bottles they put in your bed at night. The property is beautiful and we enjoyed walking around the gardens. We also loved the dogs, especially Toby! We miss him!
