Boasting a garden and views of inner courtyard, Fernweh Harz is a guest house set in a historic building in Seesen, 25 km from Imperial Palace. Location is great, a couple of minutes from the Autobahn and at the same time, very quiet. Keys are available to be picked up independently, I basically did not see the staff / owners. Same for the breakfast which had a good variety of food.

Highly recommended!

We were late in arriving due to travelling issues but given a lovely warm welcome. The house and gardens were beautiful. Breakfast was also lovely and so beautifully presented!

Buffet breakfast excellent, but only had it one morning as on second night there were only two rooms let. That was a pity as the breakfast is excellent. Room excellent in size and facilities and especially bathroom with heated floor. Ecellent shower.
