The service here is outstanding. Everything is done with love. We been travelling for some time now, and this is a place you dont find easily. Set on the Water and Peace Biosphere Reserve, this accommodation is 11 km from Volcano Tenorio National Park. Sueño Celeste B&B is a bird-watching lodge located on Bijagua, Costa Rica. Me and my family spent 11 days in Costa Rica, staying in 9 different places and this hotel was the best I had during the entire trip. Spacious bungalow, very clean everywhere. Extremely nice hosts and a great breakfast with hand-prepared meals. Delicious granola and wonderfully fruity homemade smoothie. And if we add an evening in the jacuzzi, and in the morning a whole lot of birds: ten toucans, chakalakas, Asian caciques (montezuma), a baby or the sight of a sloth with a cub - then if once a year we could give a higher rating than 10 - then the whole my family will even give it a rating: 12 ;-) The best accommodation during the tour of Costa Rica. I would highly recommend ! ;-)

Situated in Río Segundo, Airport Green Studio is a recently renovated accommodation, 35 km from Poas National Park and 5.9 km from Alejandro Morera Soto Stadium. Cute detached studio that has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The owners/hosts were the best!! We were warmly greeted by their family, and their dad even took us to his favorite seafood restaurant so we could enjoy a great final night in Costa Rica. He then got up at 3:30 am to drive us to the airport. They made our stay so special!

Quiet, clean, familial. Johana was extremely friendly, great location away from the tourist activities of La Fortuna.

Situated in Naranjo, within 40 km of Poas National Park and 22 km of Catarata Tesoro Escondido, Rancho Amalia features accommodation with a garden and free WiFi as well as free private parking for... This such a hidden gem! The farm is absolutely beautiful and came as a surprise. This was our first stop out of San Jose and I really recommend it. We visited Poas, Catarata del Toro and the Blue Falls before checking in for the night at a lovely cottage. The owner is just lovely and so friendly. We had dinner at the restaurant at the farm - delicious and fresh! We slept like babies in the super comfy bed and in the morning we enjoyed drinking coffee grown at the farm whilst watching hummingbirds feed. The breakfast was delicious and in a beautiful setting with the view of the valley. Absolutely magical.

Beautiful accommodation with well maintained public spaces (pool, breakfast area, walkways) all set in lovely rain forest gardens. Great hosts, and we can highly recommend the rain forest guided walk with Henry. Lots of birds!
