Free WiFi is available in public areas. Staff were all very nice and friendly. Michael who works in the kitchen was extremely nice and offered warm hospitality from the day we arrived. The breakfast was very good, the homemade bread was unforgettable. I will definitely stay in the same hotel if we travel to Andermatt again

All rooms at the Bergheim come functionally decorated with rustic wooden furniture. Some units have private and some shared bathroom facilities. Pension Bergheim is located beautifully above the valley and surrounded by breathtaking mountains, and even though we only stayed for one night, we enjoyed the surroundings tremendously. The Gasthaus is cozy, the room was cozy and comfortable, and everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and having a very good dinner - the food was excellent.

The guest house is 1.5 km from the Andermatt-Sedrun Ski Area and 2.5 km from Gemsstock Ski Area. During the winter season, there is bus going to Andermatt every half hour. Zurich and Lugano are a 1.5-hour drive away. I arrived late and the hotel was thankfully very accommodating to my late check-in. The breakfast is perfect: filter coffee, DIY cooked eggs, fresh bread, real birchner muesli. Highly recommended.

The country-style interior provides for a cosy atmosphere, ideally suited to relax after a day out in the fresh mountain air. Every morning you can enjoy a rich complimentary breakfast buffet before you set out for a great day on the slopes of Andermatt, which is also a very popular destination for Freeriders (ski season from the end of November until mid-April). Very friendly owner, who just wants the best for his guests. Breakfast was excellent, the beds were much better than expected! The family room was clean and quite big. And the surroundings: just WOW! If you're there, make sure to drive to Göscheneralpsee Staudamm: it's only a 10 minute drive from the hotel and the scenery is just STUNNING!
