Au Cheval Blanc in Asuel has 3-star accommodation with a bar, a garden and a terrace. Breakfast was great. We had local, organic products and homemade bread. We really enjoyed the evening meal and the conversation with Luc in which we learnt about the area. The bus and train were handy for trips further afield and we enjoyed a walk in the neighbourhood too.

Each morning we tucked into a different and delicious breakfast, consisting of home made bread and jams, meats and cheese, slow oats with apple and berries, pancakes, eggs from their own chickens, yogurt and a different juice each day. At lunch time, Michelangelo would take fruit up to the room for my other half. For dinner, Michelangelo served a selection of beautifully presented and very tasty dishes, including fresh salad from the garden, steak, spaghetti and meatballs, plum and apple pastries (using produce from the garden); it was the standard of a fine dinning restaurant. The garden was large and enclosed which was great for our two dogs. It was nice for them to have the freedom to roam and know they were safe.

Offering city views, Hôtel de L'Ours is an accommodation set in Courroux, 38 km from Schaulager and 41 km from St. Jakob-Park. Bedrooms are very comfortable , very clean and beds are really good . Good to have the restaurant on site after a day's work. Food was excellent too .

This 3-star hotel is located in the centre of Saignelégier, only a few steps from the train station. It features a restaurant and offers free Wi-Fi. Very nice and friendly staff. The room was spacious and well suited for us (family of four).
