Located 1 km from the centre of Gais high above Lake Constance, Bären - Das Gästehaus is a small and stylish boutique hotel surrounded by gardens. It offers free Wi-Fi and free private parking. Outstanding family run B&B that was charming, clean, and situated in the heart of the Appenzell region with access to unbelievable scenery and hiking. Wonderful hospitality from Abongile who provided all the local knowledge and recommendations. She went above and beyond to help us with a parking ticket as well. Amazing local organic breakfast was provided every morning, with the scrambled eggs in particular a highlight. WiFi was fast!

Offering a terrace and views of the mountain, Pizzeria-Pension Gambrinus is situated at a quiet location in Walzenhausen, a 2-minute walk from the train station and a bus stop and 5 km from the... The owners were so friendly and accomodating. For every question they had a solution. Food in the restaurant downstairs was excellent. I would visit again just for this!

Located in the village of Grub, Landgasthaus Bären is a 10-minute drive from Lake Constance and 15 minutes from St. Gallen. The award-winning restaurant serves modern Swiss cuisine. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is spotless. The breakfast very good. the option to purchase and have dinner at the hotel restaurant was very convenient. The dinner was excellent. You can tell they care for presentation as well as taste. I would go again!

The Park guest house offers pet-friendly accommodation in Heiden. Free private parking is available on site. Konstanz is 36 km from Park, while Oberstaufen is 39 km away. Hotel should be closed or rebuild as per 2023 standard... There is one WC for all building, room where I stay, was not changing bedsheets, only what was nice and O. K was nice recaption person and breakfast in hotel Heiden... Hotel Park as is today, is not Hotel, maybe Hostel...
