Like mentioned before it's a good idea to come with just a (small) backpack because of the steep walk uphill. We were informed about that by the hosts before we came and loved our stay :-)

Great views and located close to Yumani port. Staff was super helpful and welcoming. Rooms are very comfortable and clean. Good wifi in restaurant area (I could do video calls) but not in rooms but that is ok.

This place is amazing! The house turned-hostel feels like a hotel. I stayed in a private room and it was beautiful and the bed super comfortable. Everything is clean, good breakfast and you get the most amazing views. There's a meditation/yoga room and beautiful gardens. Perfect to relax. Close to restaurants and small shops. The owner will help you with anything you need. I truly enjoyed my stay! Just keep in mind it's quite a steep walk to get there!! Pack light!!

Beautiful vintage building away from the noise of the center, perched on a small hill top that has sweeping views of the lake and the hills around. Garden in the front of the property is a great spot to watch amazing sunsets. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean, breakfast next to the fireplace every morning is decent and Mario who looks after the place is just too good.

With mountain views, INTI WASI LODGE is situated in Comunidad Yumani and has a restaurant, full-day security, bar and garden. Such a beautiful experience in Isla del Sol!! We arrived at Inti Wasi after a day of travelling and Yanette introduced herself and brought us all a cup of coca tea to our room which just set the tone perfectly. The lodge was a tranquil and gorgeous place and you can really notice the care that the family put into making your time there enjoyable. The breakfast was so good before a day of hiking around the island - eggs served fresh everyday! They have a restaurant too so if you are feeling tired then you can enjoy fresh homemade pasta and pizzas there in the evening! Just an overall 10/10 stay and could definitely have stayed there longer - Isla del Sol has a piece of our hearts thanks to this amazing place and people!!

Featuring lake views, Hostal Sol y Lago offers accommodation with patio, around 1.2 km from Inca Gallows. This guest house provides free private parking and a 24-hour front desk. I stayed in a little, round dome (hut) and I loved it so much I extended for one more night! Lake views, alpacas in the garden, good brekkie and super nice staff! What else can you wish for? Maybe a heater haha, but that's pretty standard in Bolivia. The dome was still pretty warm, all things considered and there was hot water in the shower. The bed and pillows were comfortable and you get a few heavy blankets to sleep under. It's very quiet at night. 15 min walk to town or a $1-2 taxi Free drinking water
