The rooms on the top floor can only be reached via stairs (not a problem for us, but people with reduced mobility might want to ask for a ground floor room).

We had a very peaceful time there. Self check-in, super comfortable bed, the room had nice light during the day and was very dark to sleep. The kitchen had everything we needed, including condiments and oil to cook. We loved having a dishwasher so we didn’t have to worry about anything. Also the decoration was really pretty. Outside we had a nice view of the lake and we could reach easily Hoge Kempen with our car, just in 10 minutes. Since it is a rather small place, you could hear noise coming from the kitchen which can be annoying at sleeping hours. But the owners are super friendly, responsive and helpful in case other guests are making a lot of noise outside.

Set just 28 km from Bobbejaanland, Guesthouse Andor offers accommodation in Balen with access to pool with a view, a garden, as well as a lift. The best B&B I have ever stayed in. The overall experience was just amazing. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was modern, built and furnished with care and style. The room was spotless clean and with elegant design. Super comfortable bed with good quality mattress, bedlinen and pillows/blankets, excellent wifi, TV with Netflix, fresh coffee making possibilities, enough different size towels etc. Everything you could think of, they had it. There is a separate lounge to relax and a bar (self-service) with very reasonable prices and wide choice. The cherry on the cake was a beautiful garden with a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi (included in the room price). I have to mention the super delicious fresh breakfast including everything you can just wish (fresh pastry and bread, ham, cheese, fruit salad, yoghurt, fresh juice, tea/coffee, eggs, bacon etc) and prepared just for you by the host. The host was so welcoming, attentive and friendly that it made us immediately feel as if we were visiting old friends. Will definitely stay again. Only to reccomend!
