huisalfons is situated in Mechelen, 2 km from Toy Museum Mechelen. 3.4 km from Technopolis Mechelen, the property is also 5 km away from Zoo Planckendael. Guests can enjoy river views. I had the room on the top floor and it was absolutely gorgeous! I loved the little details, such as a bag with delicious cookies or the aesthetic decorations. The view was spectacular as the apartment is right next to the river. I also really loved the high ceiling and the bed which is super big and comfy. Probably the cleanest apartment I’ve ever been to. As I arrived at night, I could enter the house via app which was really practical. On the first floor, there is a kitchen which can be used. Big thanks to the owner, Nele, who helped me with everything and who was always available via Whatsapp. I had a wonderful stay.

The overall experience was just amazing. We enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was modern, built and furnished with care and style. The room was spotless clean and with elegant design. Super comfortable bed with good quality mattress, bedlinen and pillows/blankets, excellent wifi, TV with Netflix, fresh coffee making possibilities, enough different size towels etc. Everything you could think of, they had it. There is a separate lounge to relax and a bar (self-service) with very reasonable prices and wide choice. The cherry on the cake was a beautiful garden with a heated swimming pool and jacuzzi (included in the room price). I have to mention the super delicious fresh breakfast including everything you can just wish (fresh pastry and bread, ham, cheese, fruit salad, yoghurt, fresh juice, tea/coffee, eggs, bacon etc) and prepared just for you by the host. The host was so welcoming, attentive and friendly that it made us immediately feel as if we were visiting old friends. Will definitely stay again. Only to reccomend!

Easy access to the city, it had everything we needed, and the pool and hot tub were a great bonus for the kids. The owner is also very responsive.
