Samarkand Amira is an excellent place to stay right by the Registan! It was clean, comfortable, with a good breakfast, and run by the very helpful Firuz. It is also right next to the street where one can get a shared taxi to Shahrisabz, which is very convenient if you want to make that trip. Firuz was also very accommodating when I changed my train ticket to leave a day early, which I appreciated very much.

Excellent location, right next to Registon. The hotel is run by a lovely family. Breakfasts in the courtyard were a wonderful way to start our days in Samarkand. The owner, Farhod is a great source of information and local history.

They have treated us so well and the breakfast was amazing. we had a flight early morning and they made us breakfast earlier than the usual time the lady treated us like her kids and her daughter was also very cooperative and kind close to all the tourist attractions bibi khanyam mosque siob bazar shahi zinda registan rooms were really clean and recommended for families
