The garden, the birdsong, the meditation house, the friendly owners…the children loved their bunk beds and we loved our comfortable double. My son and I are novice meditators and loved seeing all the quotes from plum village. The vegetarians in our group were well catered for, and we all felt very welcome, and relaxed. Such friendly hosts! They set me up with a tuk tuk driver and I was able to do a three hour tour of the temples. She ordered a cab for me to go back to Bangkok and watched to be sure I left safely. I’m an older solo traveler and I felt quite safe there. The family was always set up in the courtyard. They lock the gate at 11 pm. My room was clean and quiet. Internet was perfect, When I needed to adjust my dates, she worked with me.
