Very, very friendly host and hostess. Tok and Big, thank you very much for your kindness and lovely care. They are very flexible and open to help in any kind of situation. One of the many advantages of staying here is that you can rent a motorbike for only 250 baht a day. You only have to fill in your signature on a paper and that's it! No leaving your passport behind or paying a deposit. We wanted to take the moterbike for one or two days to Pai and that was no problem at all. Tok even checked our moterbike for any kind of problems.They didn't make us pay for the checkup. Also if you have any questions Tok and Big will try to help where they can. They give some tips about nice locations in Thailand that aren't too touristy and they can call a cab or an organisation for you. Our room was very big and clean, we liked the style of the interior and the vibe of the room. In the shared 'kitchen' outside, you can use drinking water, coffee and tea for free. The only disadvantage is that the location is not close to the city center, but a seven eleven is nearby (5 minutes walk). It also wasn't too bad of a location, we walked several times to the night market (18 minute walk) So if you do not mind to walk a bit then this is just perfect. It was nice to have your own room to rest and also the living area aka the kitchen outside to socialize with other travelers. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a place in Chiang Mai.

The property was almost new and very clean. We could relax and in enjoy the space after a day of sightseeing. The smart TV was great as it made us feel at home. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. We loved this please and want to go back.

I wanted a hotel close to the airport! It was quite cheap and that's why I was even more surprised to see the comfortable room! It's definitely a place where one could stay longer! The check in was very uncomplicated (I could come any time the key was in the room), everything was clean and the hostess even dropped me off at the airport early in the morning, which was very helpful!

Was a fantastic decorative hotel, bed was very comfy and all the little touches did not go unnoticed. Only stayed one night, we checked in late however they still made us feel very welcome. Close to airport and not far from town accessible by truck for 30bht. Would stay again, shame we could not stay any longer.

This place is just awesome! The rooms are great, super clean and comfortable. The central spots are located just a few minutes away by scooter while the hotel itself is in a pretty nice, quiet and relaxing area. The owner just as the rest of the staff is super kind and always helped me out with anything I needed help with. I am just super happy that I have found that place. Highly recommended!

I can’t say enough good stuff about my stay at Ban Maitree. It was absolutely perfect for my extended 5 week stay to attend school nearby. Amie is the perfect hostess and went far beyond what she needed to in order to assure my stay was top notch.
