The rooms are very spacious with good working air conditioning. Very clean property. The breakfast was supper with eggs and local fruits, usually passion fruit, mango, and banana. We also had pancakes few times. The hosts are nice couple to chat with. They are willing to cook local meals at fair price. I would highly recommend this guesthouse to all travelers looking for home like atmosphere. I will certainly return to Julie's Holiday Home on my next trip to Mahe.

John’s place is wonderful. Its close to markets, local farms where you can buy locally grown products, banks and ATM’s. His place is integrated into the forest and has a great ocean view where you can watch dolphins. Very close to the famous Surfer’s Beach. John is a wonderful host makes you feel at home and quickly becomes your friend. We picked up coconuts together and he served us coconot milk and fresh coconut. Even let us take fresh coconuts back home! Also make sure to listen his life captivating stories. Definetly recommend Charlotte Villa to anyone. 5 stars *****

Everything was just great! The location is right at the beach front: at the lovely terrace you can hear beach waves! The rooms are huge! Beds are comfortable. We were impressed by everything: staff so friendly, cleanliness: everyday they cleaned the rooms properly, changed towels, bed linen and brought us water without even asking. We made our booking including breakfast. Breakfast is delicious! It’s absolutely worth it! You get it every morning into the room, by previously preordering the things you’d like from the menu. Btw every room has an espresso machine with coffee pods, that they also bring everyday. And in general, the rooms include small details that make a difference while you are on vacation, you can tell the the owners do take care of their visitors! It make you feel really welcome!

Just a superb holiday home. Veronique and Vanessa are fantastic hosts, helpful, friendly, welcoming, providing exceptional service. Far better than any 5 star resort. Holiday home is very well stocked, exceptionally clean. Welcome goodies provided for cooking and items for breakfast provided were a nice touch. Swimming pool great for soaking with nice view to the ocean. Beautifully maintained property with fruit trees. Secure gate property for parking the car. Bit difficult to find the house initially but great location minutes from the main east coast road, very handy for exploring both the west and east coast of the island. Julie's takeaway a few minutes away is fantastic for buying dinner or lunch with big portions of excellent creole food. Seychelles is a wonderful culture destination that can be made affordable by staying in the exceptional local guesthouses, eating local foods at the takeaways and shopping for local fruits, veggies, fish at the market stands around the islands. Service provided at Emma's is the best one will encounter anywhere in the world. Several days are needed to see all the many sights on Mahe.

Rooms with balconies or terrasses with the sea view, access to a private beach with sun beds. Breskfast simple and same everyday, however, it was enough for us, as we loved the delicious coffee and local fruits served as Papaya, bananas and passion fruit. The apartments have small kitchen with all the utensils one might need. There are two mini marts just across the street so you can prepare your meals, 2 restaurants and 1 fast food truck in walking distance that were not opened every day. We have visited Mahe in July and we had a problem to find any restaurant or cafe open, so you will definitely need to prepare your own meals. Also possibility yo feed and observe Seychellois giant tortoises. Very good experience!
