Silvia was incredibly helpful, welcoming, approachable, and accessible. She advised regarding local activities, booked taxis, found affordable accommodations for me in the town where I will be next, and made calls to book said accommodations. She is fluent in English. Her local expertise alone is worth the price of the stay and makes Hummingbird Hostel an excellent choice, especially if it's your first stop in Paraguay.

The place is an actual garden, many well maintained flowers and plants. It is a very beautiful, quiet place. There is also a pool, that works until 22:00. Additionally, there is a barbecue place with tables and utensils that may be taken from the reception. Breakfast is very nice. Free parking is in abundance. Also, I would like to point out the exceptional customer orientation of the staff, especially the owner Oliver and the receptionist Maria. I had a serious problem with my rental car, both of them did way more and beyond their duty to help me in dealing with this problem. All the receptionists and the owner speak English very well.

Staff were very friendly, with really wonderful common areas- lots of places to explore around the posada Room was a bit small but clean. Good location near the river and several restaurants

Daiana the host was absolutely amazing! From the moment I got here she was incredibly kind, welcoming and always very quick to respond to my messages. Throughout my stay here she was amazingly helpful guiding me with bus routes, Iguaçu falls information and any additional questions and information I needed. The property itself is located just short walk from the main street, a few minute walk from two fantastic coffee shops and best of all the property felt private and safe. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious and clean and other guests were very respectful. Thank you Daiana for the wonderful stay here, I hope to connect with you again next time I'm in Foz! :)
