I was overall very pleased with my stay at Charm; it provides high quality accommodation at a very reasonable price. The location is excellent, just steps from the river and a 10 minutes walk to cross the bridge to Porto. In case you do not want to walk, the "river taxi" is right there, 9am-6pm, taking 3 euros and 5 minutes to Ribeira. The area is very safe, there are many restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance and also wine cellars with wine tasting tours right around the corner. The place is very clean with contemporary design, which contrasts the original stone walls of the building. The room decor and layout is very modern, the bathroom is right behind the bed headboard, separated with a low wall and thick glass all the way up to the ceiling, there is a roller blind that you can lower too. I was traveling alone so it was not a concern, but it could feel a bit uncomfortable and lacking privacy, if there were two of us. Even though my room was facing the street, insulation was efficient and I was not at all bothered by outside noises. The lady who was at the reception when I arrived (I am so sorry I cannot remember her name) was very polite and helpful, and made sure my room was ready, even though it was earlier than check in time. She also gave me very useful information and tips about the surrounding area. Breakfast is more than adequate, with a selection of pastries, bread, jam, cheese and ham. I was sorry I had to leave early on my last day, so I missed it. I would definitely stay again at Charm.

Really spacious, modern, very well-equipped place. Ideal and comfy for couples or a family. Has free parking, and the heating works really well. The host was also very kind and helpful!

I stayed in the Ninho Jardim do Morro for three days. The owners were attentive, and showed interest during my staying. It is good for location, very close to the popular sunset spot in Porto. In addition, it should be noted that only 10 minutes from plaice there are many wineries that offer a variety of activities for tourists and also not far away from the good restorants. Although I bought a Porto card, I practically did not use public transport, because the road from the place of residence to the city center was not far and the view that opened up while walking was charming. A great opportunity to use the washing machine during maintenance will be beneficial for those who want to travel with minimal luggage. Everything you need is available in the kitchen.
