Lovely place with south facing terraces to have breakfast and fully equipped kitchen. Beds very comfy with proper down duvet for cold days. Lovely host with two friendly dogs and a cat - what's not to like ? Highly recommended

So glad and grateful that we "zoomed in" on Sao Bras de Alportel and this wonderful accommodation. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had made a great choice. We ended up staying for six nights, because we were so happy and felt "at home" there. Nidia and her daughter have created a lovely, super clean, modern, spacious and welcoming place. They were kind, helpful, attentive and honoring of our needs. The balcony terrace was lovely, the kitchen extremely well-equipped, and we really appreciated the attention to detail. And, while it was our first time in the Algarve and we didn't know one town from the other, Sao Bras turned out to be the perfect place --- accessible to many other places, including the sea and mountains. We look forward to returning to the Algarve and staying here --- a wonderful "home away from home." Thank you!

Firstly, the location: if you don't drive, don't choose this place. If you do, then it's one of those rare gems that needs to be nourished! Located in the hills, in quite possibly one of the most beautiful locations in the Algarve, just outside Bordeira, and near to Santa Barbara de Nexe, the views from the guest house are spectacular. This is classed as a rural guest house, but I have never seen such a well equipped and spacious kitchen, if you want to self cater, in my life. It is out of this world, equally, the guest lounge and dining room, all occupying the top floor, are like a TV location set. Four en suite rooms and again, nothing left out. This place is an absolute gem. I would stay anytime here. Even has central heating for those chilly winter evenings. 10/10 from me.

It was a beautiful old family home filled with authentic furniture, paintings and decorative porcelain pieces, etc. Affable Jose, the proprietor had great pride in showing us all the rooms and unique artifacts, like the old carriage. He did a great job preparing breakfast with freshly squeezed orange juice and a fruit salad with all the other usual pastries

Everything! The owner is really lovely and very accommodating. She let us checkin early and also extended the checkout time because she didn’t need to get the room ready for anyone else that day. The bedroom was exceptionally clean and the bed was really comfortable. The property is beautiful and within walking distance to the centre of Estoi.
