Miguel Portúgal

Big house, clean, comfortable and well decorated, perfect flow between the inside living spaces, kitchen and the outside. The views of the river are beautiful. It’s quiet and isolated, perfect for relaxing or blasting your speakers. It’s a 30 min drive away from the “central” Algarve beaches, but also the perfect house to spend the day and go canoeing in the river. Lovely hosts and overall stay.

Gustavo and Miguel were great hosts and are LGBTQ+ friendly. We enjoyed not being in a tourist hotspot and on the countryside, but could easily reach breathtaking beaches and other destinations by car. The house is charmingly decorated and the pets are adorable. Our hosts, who also live in the house, gave us very good tips and were generous by taking us with them to an event with their friends. If we didn't go to a restaurant, we used the well-equipped kitchen to cook meals. The hosts also offer making smoothies with their local grown fruits, which were excellent.
