I want to recommend this accommodation to everyone who comes to the azores! A great accomodation and an even grater host! He really cares for your wellbeing and for you to make your stay as enjoyable as possible! He provided us with every help and assistance, from tips where to go out for dinner to rainy-day-program, with bath towels for each day and even bathtowels to go to the hot springs (which are a must do in our opinion but thats another story) The room was very nice, clean and had everything we needed (thanks for the anti-moskito-plug! Made our nights very peaceful). In the shared area is even a fully equipped kitchen, there is coffe and even a garden to sit outside and enjoy breakfast. Locationwise you can get to the city center via a short walk, there is one excellent fish restaurant down the street and you have a parking opportunity suitable for mainland europeans ;) Everything you need is close by. Beautiful property, well stocked and comfortable as well. Host was very attentive. Would definitely stay here again if we came back! (it was fantastic to have nearby parking that was free, and Ponta Delgada was only a few minutes away. Very easy!)

I loved everything about the breakfast. Pastries were fresh and I am unable to say where I have had better eggs and bacon... You can eat while enjoying panoramic view of the sea and landscape, but are smartly sheltered from wind and rain. Best of all Miguel very personally yet not intrusively goes from table to table with maps and advises about where and what you might look at. The guidance was flawless

Pedro and Maria were fantastic hosts making you feel at home. They were happy to provide detailed information about the whole island, carefully recommending sites, routes, hiking and restaurants. Adelicious beakfast was set up beautifully with all local foods and enjoyed outside in the garden if the weather permitted. This also gave us the opportunity to meet some wonderful travelers. Our room was very comfortable for 2, spotlessly clean, beautiful traditional furniture, extremely comfortable bed, good wifi, contemporary bathroom with good shower, and the room overlooked the garden. Pedro's professional photographs of the Azorean landscapes adorn the walls giving the house a gallery feel. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. It's very easy to get in and out of town with a car as parking was nearby. The town was easily walkable from Casadacidade. If you want the experience of living in a beautiful Azorean home with great hospitality, this is a wonderful opportunity.
