We had a great stay at Casa do Mar on Pico. The house is just wonderful with lots of natural wood and it is directly located at the water. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning (bread rolls, cheese, meat, jam, joghurt, fruits, müsli and boiled eggs).

The apartment is really comfortable and the view is amazing. The ocean is just one minute away. The apartments’ have a really big terrace which is perfect for relaxing.

Sarah (the host) was super friendly and prepared every day warm breakfast for us and took care of all details in the room. Also the terrace when sunny days have an amazing view!

Perfect spot zu explore the island. Between Madalena and Lajes, the natural pool nearby is really nice and the view from the terrasse extraordinary with the pico at the back. We could watch dolphins from the terrasse. The father of the host who was taking care of the house was really nice and helpful. There was Coffee, tea, water and milk waiting for us.

All good! You may hear the rush from the streets, so take the earplugs, but that's logical if you want to live in a town center

The property is a house overlooking the beach, the rooms themselves don't have the oceanview per se but have access to a terrace that does. It was clean and the lady who runs it, Alice, is very nice. Location is also very close to the center of town and nice restaurants and right behind a hiking trail along with the whaling/whale oil museum.

very tasteful and well run little guesthouse in the center of Horta, only a couple of minutes away from Peters Café. The hosts are fantastic and very helpful. Great place to recommend if you stay in Horta!

Very clean sweet renovated home. Everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again !

Best location, everything on your doorstep and quiet to sleep, except for the hilarious calls of the cagarro (I love it!)
