We had a great stay at Casa do Mar on Pico. The house is just wonderful with lots of natural wood and it is directly located at the water. In the evening we could sit on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and prepared a delicious breakfast every morning (bread rolls, cheese, meat, jam, joghurt, fruits, müsli and boiled eggs).

Perfect spot zu explore the island. Between Madalena and Lajes, the natural pool nearby is really nice and the view from the terrasse extraordinary with the pico at the back. We could watch dolphins from the terrasse. The father of the host who was taking care of the house was really nice and helpful. There was Coffee, tea, water and milk waiting for us.

The property is a house overlooking the beach, the rooms themselves don't have the oceanview per se but have access to a terrace that does. It was clean and the lady who runs it, Alice, is very nice. Very clean sweet renovated home. Everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again !
