Breakfast was a first class buffet with an excellent selection. Presentation was pretty and in keeping with the bygone days. So much home produce was lovely to see. The host and hostess were truly genuine and welcoming, informative and interested. Secure off road parking a bonus.

Very nice and clean place to stay in Ponte do Sotão (Góis). The host was very attentive and kind. The room was in a 2-room unit with a spacious living room with balcony, with a well equipped kitchen and even had some snacks prepared for the guests. I was grateful to check in earlier than I've initially anounced and felt very welcome all in all.

It feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hostel if you reserve a private room. The room was impeccably clean, very comfortable, and breakfast was quite satisfying! The owners were also so thoughtful and kind, and take amazing care of the property! Even though it was a little rainy, the hiking nearby was really pretty, and it’s easy to hike or drive to explore a few of the schist villages from Lousã. We’d be thrilled to return!!

The view is breathtaking for people wanting to switch off for a couple of days. We booked last minute, as we had other plans/accomodation but we had to bring our dog. There are many thoughtful touches to make your stay memorable; capsules for the Nespresso coffee machine, a jar full of cookies, and more. The location is very central but very quiet and peaceful. There's new (and very quiet) air con in all rooms. The host is lovely and gives loads of useful information about the city, hikes in the area and good restaurants. Highly recommended.
