Alice's home was one of the best accommodations we had during our Azores holiday. The place is so clean, equipped with everything that you need, the room was comfortable and of course, the garden and view on Pico is unbeatable! We really enjoyed it here and highly recommend it... This place is just perfect. The owners are boths incredibly nice (helped me to find some activities, restaurants, taxi..) and everything on this house is super clean, confortable and beautiful. The room, bathroom and kitchen are very well equipped. There are many small details everywhere, it's one of the best hostel/appartement I ever seen. Thanks for this very plaisant stay !

This location was home away from home. l was able to purchase groceries and cook my own meals. Do laundry and interact with both guests and staff alike. Highly recommended 10/10

The property is a house overlooking the beach, the rooms themselves don't have the oceanview per se but have access to a terrace that does. It was clean and the lady who runs it, Alice, is very nice. Location is also very close to the center of town and nice restaurants and right behind a hiking trail along with the whaling/whale oil museum.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!

I liked everything in this nice studio appartment. Great location, close to everything and still a quiet area. Has also a balkony with a view.

Very clean sweet renovated home. Everything we needed was there. The bedroom was small with private bathroom and air conditioning , it met our needs . There is the option to sit outside and the shared space is very inviting . It feels like home . I would definitely come back again !
