This place is just perfect. The owners are boths incredibly nice (helped me to find some activities, restaurants, taxi..) and everything on this house is super clean, confortable and beautiful. The room, bathroom and kitchen are very well equipped. There are many small details everywhere, it's one of the best hostel/appartement I ever seen. Thanks for this very plaisant stay !

The guesthouse is located in an excellent location - a few stepy from the beach, realy close to Horta port. The owner is a wonderful person - very hospitable and friendly, always happy to help or advise.

One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in 45 years of travel. Artistic and funky but also warm, friendly and totally unpretentious. The hotel is an old style property, airy and light with big windows and views to the Pico volcano. It is like a gem of an oasis amidst more recent development on the edge of town, but is only ten mins walk down to the big square and port. Breakfast in the spacious dining room is exceptional and the ladies who run the hotel are charming and helpful. We had the extra benefit and unexpected bonus of the Suite, which was like having your own flat with a terrace! There are some trendy restaurant options down the hill with good food - but rather pricey wine, but we found a couple of traditional older places (Medalhas & Lima) that we liked. For whale-watching, Naturalist are a good science-based outfit and if you are short of time or transport they do an excellent half day island tour too - very informative and not touristy. You can do both in one day!

Sijainti oli erinomainen. Meillä tosin oli ikkuna sataman puolelle, joten varaudu meteliin kadulta aamuyölle asti (majoituimme perjantai-lauantai). Huone oli todella positiivinen yllätys! Oma kylpyhuone oli siisti ja siinä oli kaikki mitä tarvitsimme (saippuaa, pyyhkeet, hiustenkuivaaja). Vuodevaatteet olivat puhtaat ja tahrattomat, huone hyvin siivottu ja sängyt mukavat nukkua.
