We absolutely fell in love with the fort. It is a magical place and our hosts Rita and Miguel made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Miguel shared a lot of information with us and was very friendly & funny! The breakfast buffet was outstanding and we loved sitting on the wall looking out at the river and ocean watching the fisherman and birds. We woke up early and walked down the river to watch the sunset.

EVERYTHING! What a place!! Had the one-bedroom 'villa'. Super complete with everything in it you could need Superb view from terrace. Tasty breakfast. A place to stay longer than the only 2 nights I was there. Will come back FOR SURE!!

Besides the perfect setting and the absolutely wonderful atmosphere of the place. We were wholly blown away by the pleasantness of our host Geraldine and her husband. They were kind, funny, and had a great energy about them. Geraldine offers witty banter from the getgo which is hard to find nowadays. The rooms were splendid with a moderate temperature and a inviting decor. Would definitely recommend for others.

Wonderful place. We had the most comfortable stay we could imagine. The hosts are amazing - kind, helpful and positive. The room was super clean. The whole facility very beautiful. The location is also perfect for a quick getaway to the beach and walking distance to the center. Highly recommended!
