Virginia and her family are lovely hosts and made both of us so very welcome. The village is very small, tucked away in the hills, within easy reach of the main road and beaches. It is mainly used for overnight travellers, avid cyclists and hikers alike but served both of us for the duration very well. The two restaurants serve stunning food and three village cafes open early. It is not to everyone's liking as it's basic - but comfortable, well maintained and clean. We loved it for it's charm and simplicity. The people who live here are a unique mixture or young and seniors and share an appreciation of expressive arts and musical cultures. We will definitely come back here again.

I don’t know where to start but this was definitely the highlight of our trip to Portugal thanks to the hosts of this beautiful home. Breakfast was delicious, the views from the terrace during sunset were espectacular and going for a swim was great after a day of sightseeing. Great helpful staff with amazing restaurant tipps for Lagos, Luz, Burgau. Quiet AC in the room. Nice and good breakfast with fresh breadrolls. Very nice swimming pool. Safe Carpark with a gate.

The most friendly owner, she helped us with restaurants and activities, and obviously takes immense pride in her establishment. Bravo! The rooms were spacious, clean, and the pool was our favorite place to end the day with a nice glass of wine.

Very spacious and comfortable apartment. You have everything what you need for shorter or longer time, equipment for cooking, dining table, a big terrace. The bathroom was very good and comfortable to use.
