This was our second perfect stay at Perfect Shore. Alex and Clare are the most welcoming, informative and helpful hosts. Their guesthouse is aesthetically and thoughtfully decorated and absolutely immaculate. Our room was spacious and attractive and the most comfortable bed of our many stops on this trip to Portugal. We really appreciate the large and fully equipped communal kitchen. We love the surrounding neighborhood. Wonderful restaurants and pastelerias are a short walk away. Can’t wait to return!

This place was absolutely perfect. The location is great, right across from Peniche Surfcamp so can rent surfboards easily and a very short distance to the beach. You can easily walk to the beach with your board and be surfing in 5 minutes! The staff was among the best I have ever met staying at a hotel. They made you feel like family. They were friendly and available if you needed anything or had questions and were fun and kind to chat with. The room itself was also very nice. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great front porch area to go out on and hang our wet clothes. The shower was also nice and hot, which felt good in the chilly evenings. This place was also exceptionally clean! This cannot be easy given it accommodates so many surfers coming in and out with wetsuits and sandy, salty flip flops. They have a place to store your surfboards and wetsuits outside with outdoor showers and a drying rack. This was super nice and convenient. They also have a place to cook food outside that is very lovely and can help you save some money or have a home cooked meal. Every morning, they prepare a bag of breakfast that was super hardy and delicious, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice! There was also an unlimited supply of coffee! They have a small pool on the top of the hotel, which we really did not use because we were surfing, but it was a cute little spot to hang out and drink some wine in the evening. I am absolutely staying here again! One of the best hotel experiences, in my opinion. 10/10 stars!
