Friendly and kind hosts. The best local food in the restaurant downstairs. It will be even better when the thermal baths are open again. We can't help but return to this lovely town everytime we travel.

From the room overlooking the Douro Valley to the incredible infinity pool where you could swim. There was a fridge where you could stock up on your own drinks and we were given very tasty snacks when we arrived at dinner without notice. Breakfast was great and included additional fresh fruit and homemade cakes, all provided by the lovely hosts.
