Emmanuel showed me the place and was extremely friendly and helpful. Answered questions I had and even came to the rescue with a phone charger when I lost mine. The hotel consists of different rooms (mine had a balcony), a shared kitchen, living room, and bathrooms. Everything is clean and there is plenty of room. It’s a very short walk to several restaurants by the church, which is one of the central points in town.

This place is beautiful and the direct sea view is amazing! Everything was very clean and the decoration is well done. For coffee lovers: there is free coffee in the kitchen. And the kitchen has many tools for cooking. Finally, the owner is friendly and gives tips good about the neighborhood. Definitely coming back!

We were walking the Fisherman's Trail and arrived before check in time. We rang the door bell and Sophie answered. We were able to leave our backpacks while we explored the town. The facilities are wonderful. It is very clean, new and comfortable, and included a fan and small refrigerator in our room. There is a lovely sitting room where coffee and fruit were available. Sophie checked us in and gave us good advice about where to eat. Following her advice we had an excellent meal at the Taverna Largo, which cooked fish and meat on a BBQ grill, less than ten minutes walk from the property. Also a short distance is a good supermarket which even has washing and drying machines in the parking lot......I'm guessing it's a Portuguese thing, but really smart.

The breakfast was delicious, particularly the homemade bread, as well as the dinner's that are offered to eat with others in the house that creates a friendly atmosphere. Hosts are lovely, friendly and attentive. Rooms are large, comfortable and the place is spotlessly clean. Plenty of places to chill inside and outside the house and enjoy the peaceful area just out of town. Super close to lots of surf breaks and within cycling distance of Arrifana town. Hope Magda is coping ok :)
