Guests have access to free Wi-Fi and parking during their stay, and the guesthouse lies 20 km from Gol on the route from Oslo to the famous Nærøyfjord and Sognefjord. The Hallingdal Museum is a 20-minute walk from the property.

Amazing stay- historic property very well maintained. The owner is very nice, breakfast was great. Close to town, we walked. Loved this place, one of the highlights of our trip to Norway.

It was really clean. The furniture and decorations where old, yes but that was charming! There was a lot of selection for breakfast. Our car didn’t start the next morning due to the effect of the cold that night and our host was very helpful and called a friend for help.

Very comfortable room in a lovely old house full of interesting features. Our host was friendly, spoke good English and was happy to tell us about the local area (both the history and the current facilities!). Breakfast was really nice.

The farm has been in the same family since the middle ages and the main room in the house dates to the early 1600s. The house is filled with antiques from the family and could be a museum all by itself. Breakfast was outstanding, plentiful, and served in the oldest and most beautiful room in the house, with a fire burning in the hearth and candles lit on the old tables. Sigrunn is a wonderfully knowledgeable, friendly and welcoming hostess. The bedroom was spacious and comes with its own bathroom and a well-equipped kitchen.

It was at a great location for us as it was at a halfway point to Flåm/Aurland (we did not want to drive the whole 5 hours after having landed in Oslo in the evening). 2.5 hours away from Oslo airport was just what we needed to get us in the right direction. The room was very nice and had everything we needed to cook (including salt, pepper and oil). The hostess was very friendly and even waited for us when we ended up being 30min late (after check-in close) because of some car troubles.
