Alex was a perfect host with excellent english and super helpful. The house is kept very clean, neat and tidy.The ability to rent a bike or scooter was especially convenient. The kitchen is well appointed with drinking water available. The paneteria next door was great with fresh bread smells. The location is exceptional, being close enough to anything to walk and really easy to find. Casa Cucu was one of the best stays we had and has a very comfortable feel. It was quiet when we visited and we used the private room with only 1 person in the dormitory room.

Good hotel in a perfect location just off the main touristic street and walking distance to the center and cenote Zaci. Good hammock setup to chill with accompanying friendly lizards to keep the mosquitos away. Internet 89 Mb/s down, 78 Mb/s up, with 70ms latency. WiFi extenders carry the signal everywhere in the building.

Loved the details in the room and the space- it really felt like a different world from Valladolid, but was so close and walkable. The staff were incredibly nice and responsive, and the filtered water in the lobby was icing on the cake.

I liked everything about the property! Many have commented on the bathroom size, however if you are going just for a shower and not anything else it’s just okay 😅 clean property, wifi is strong, the guy at the property - Manolo is the best. He will suggest some places to eat and go around (take that serious) cause the recommendations where simply amazing. Bed is hugeeee and comfortable. Water is hot. The walk to centro must be 10/14 mins.. Also, they have a full fledge kitchen.
