I felt like part of the family, who was really the highlight of my stay. The view from the rooftop was amazing, everything was clean and comfy. Although it's a bit far from the centre, you can get there by public transport. If you're looking for a quiet and authentic stay, you won't be disappointed at Elus place .

Lovely hosts. Big room overlooking a courtyard . Actually had a rail and shelf to put clothes on , I haven't had anywhere to hang clothes in a lot of places ! Big desk, tv and great WiFi. There is a ceiling fan but it was a heat wave and I was feeling unwell, Ricardo kindly brought me another fan which helped me so much . I deliberately picked a quiet area of the city . But everything was within 10-20 mins walk . Once I was in the room I couldn't hear any traffic , bliss ! The only noise unfortunately was an inconsiderate neighbour constantly slamming his door despite all the notices to be considerate ...... some people are oblivious to others !!!!! Ricardo booked me a taxi to the airport which was 250 pesos, much cheaper than any of the quotes I had .

Lovely owner, great sized rooms, warm water. Not too far from the center and a lovely area. Comfy beds, nice little social area. Great fast laundry service. Owner was even kind enough to organise us a taxi to the airport.

Having towels included, early check in, general flexibility and chill nature of the staff were great. Also right next to bus station and taxis and a short walk to the main square which had a load of great street food stalls and little markets dotted along it.
