The room, although small, it is very cosy and has everything you might need for a short stay: - big bed with comfortable mattress - 2 pillows for each, one softer and another one more harder, which is a big plus - air conditioning - kitchenette with a kettle, instant coffee and tea. Also, a microwave and enough dishes - big bathroom with walk-in shower - nice balcony - we didn't have any trouble finding a parking space close to the location - good location, close to Valletta and Birgu

The Monreal is a delightful place to stay. Near several Malta visitor sites, near public transport. A true gem!! The couple who own/run this hotel were fabulous pre-visit and during my stay!

The room was just perfect for a couple. It is a bit on the small size, but more than enough for a couple. The bed was ok in terms of comfort (I've found it more comfortable than my wife did). The room and toilet were very clean and we had a small fridge, a microwave and a kettle available in the room (and also some tea and instant coffee). The location is quite good, with several restaurants, bistros and small grocery markets nearby. There's also a police station in the vicinity. There are at least four (two with two directions) different bus stops 3 minutes away from the apartment with several options to move around Malta - direct connection to the airport, Valletta, Birgu, etc... The host, Joseph, was very sympathetic and helpful! Everything ran smoothly during our stay! We totally recommend this place!

A freshly renovated, cozy, tasteful and spotlessly clean bedroom, furnished and equipped with much love and care. Comparable to a small studio apartment, with a kitchenette equipped with all the basics, a spacious desk, a table, a sofa, a large screen TV, as well as a characterful Maltese balcony offering a lively and colorful open view. There is even a fully equipped small kitchen on the 4th floor, easily reachable with a lift, and supplied with an espresso coffee machine, utensils, pots and pans, microwave and oven, as well as breakfast staples. It boasts a panoramic view over the harbor and a back door leading to a big, charming terrace overlooking the town roofs. The fridge is filled by Kelton with milk and juices for the comfort of guests. Except for the kitchen, the whole guesthouse is fully accessible. The location is convenient, as it is surrounded by mini-markets, bakeries, coffee-shops, bank, churches. It is also strategic for reaching any place around the Three Cities of Malta, having a bus stop across from the street and the ferry to Valletta only a 10 min walk away. Not to mention its proximity to the beautiful Cottonera Waterfront! Last but not least, Kelton is an exceptionally kind, welcoming and attentive host, who would go the extra mile to accommodate a guest's special needs! He showed great concern for any necessity or issue I may have had, responding promptly, efficiently, and most importantly, generously.

What did we like most about the accommodation? The host Francesco! :)) The nicest and most helpful host I have ever met. Nothing was a problem. On the day of our arrival he even waited for us until half past 3 in the morning because our flight was delayed. Even so, he greeted us with a smile and a bottle of delicious Prossecco. Excellent breakfast. Really very nice, tastefully decorated house. The room was small but just right for us (two beds - comfortable mattresses, table and chair, stand with hangers, large mirror, TV, wifi, plug-in reducer, hairdryer, etc.) Patio in the hallway outside the door, fridge. Downstairs was a shared well appointed kitchen and breakfast room. All very nice, cosy. The windows have no seals, it is an original house, so you can hear the sounds from the street (but the street is narrow, next door and quiet). But the accommodation has only two rooms on each floor, so we hardly met any other guests during our stay. Earplugs make sure of that. :) The location of the accommodation was also great. It was a short walk to the Ferry stop directly to Valletta. The ferry runs frequently, depending on the season. Also a short walk from the accommodation over the bridge was a very nice historic centre full of narrow streets and churches, of which there are many in Malta. And also a bus stop, shop, post office, cafe - all a few steps from the accommodation. On the first day Francesco took us on a tour of the area, showed us nice places and drove us by car to Marsaxlokk market. On the last day Francesco took us by car to a beautiful beach. He was our personal photographer :)) One thing is for sure, we have to come back. And only to Francesco. Thank you so much Francesco!
